Minutes of the April 19, 2025, C.C.A.R.C. Meeting

The Meeting was called to order at 9:03 a.m. by Tom, KB9WSL, President.

EMA Updates:

Rocky, EMA Director came in and gave a quick update on the security.

Secretary’s Report:

Jerry, KD9TSH, presented the minutes of March 15, 2025, minutes. It was read and approved with one change. Under NCI Hamfest changed “One of the forums is the NWS have 50 available and POTA. Going to have 2 Fox hunts.” To “Two of the forums is the NWS have 50 available and POTA. Going to have 2 Fox hunts.”

Treasurer’s Report:

Dave, N9WCQ was not present, and no report was given.

Bills: 

No bills.

Repeaters:  

Marion, KA9BYN, reported that all are up and working, however, there is low traffic. Mostly all the traffic was during the nets and weather net, also heard some traffic from someone out of town.

NCI Hamfest:

Everything is coming together. We are still needing some help.

Field Day:

Marion, KA9BYN is going to need some help. Need someone to work on food supplies, put up the bobtail, and some other antennas, work crew for the tri band antenna.

Comments / Suggestions

Tom, KB9WSL, going to check on if we can have our next meeting on Saturday, May 10th. We are moving a week earlier due to the hamfest in Xenia, OH.

Marion, KA9BYN, shared some old photos of some club events.

Miscellaneous Information

We had a $17.00 donation.

No other business meeting was adjourned at 10:07 a.m.
