Minutes of the March 15, 2025, C.C.A.R.C. Meeting

The Meeting was called to order at 9:01 a.m. by Tom, KB9WSL, President.

Secretary’s Report:

Jerry, KD9TSH, presented the minutes of February 15, 2025, minutes. It was read and approved as presented.

Treasurer’s Report:

Dave, N9WCQ, presented the treasurer’s report.

Checking Account Balance as of February 15, 2025 -- $1,106.18

Deposit $14.00 Donations

Ending Checking Balance $1,120.18

Savings Account Balance as of February 15, 2025 -- $707.61

Deposit $50.00 Donation, Thank you Janet, KE5GKT

Deposit of $0.08 for interest payment.

Ending Savings Balance $757.69

Total of both Checking and Savings $1,877.87

The treasurer’s report was approved with no changes.

Bills: 

$9.95 for repairs to the storage cabinet at the EMA.

$ 60.00 for P.O. Box rental for 6 months.

$44.94 for Roger Woodworth, N9AIR, funeral flowers.

$44.94 for Janet Woodworth, KE5GKT, sister’s funeral flowers.

$254.80 for equipment insurance.

We had a motion, and it was approved to pay the bills.

Repeaters:  

Marion, KA9BYN, reported that the repeaters are up and running.

NCI Hamfest:

Website had 706 hits since October of last year. Next meeting March 29th and April 12th at the fairgrounds. Post meeting a month later. One of the forums is the NWS have 50 available and POTA. Going to have 2 Fox hunts. Set up at 5pm the night before.

Inventory:

Going to set up another day to complete.

Field Day:

Be thinking about it. June 28th and 29th.

Comments / Suggestions

We have received a thank you card from Janet Woodworth, KE5GKT.

May have a guest speaker in the works for a winlink demonstration.

Todd, N9PVQ, had contacted Tom, KB9WSL that Alan James, the owner of the radio station, wanted to know a contact for the radio club, not sure why he wanted he wanted this information. Waiting to hear back from Alan.

Rocky might come in during next month's meeting, to give an update on the security at the EMA.
