Minutes of the September 20, 2025, C.C.A.R.C. Meeting

The Meeting was called to order at 9:00 a.m. by Tom, KB9WSL, President.

Secretary’s Report:

Jerry, KD9TSH, presented the minutes of August 16, 2025, meeting.  The minutes were approved as read.

Treasurer’s Report:

Dave, N9WCQ, presented the treasurer’s report.

Checking Account Balance as of August 16, 2025 -- $578.55

Deposit $17.00, Donations received

Check to Marion Bell for $32.10 to reimburse for certificate frames for field day.

The treasurer’s report was approved as read.

Bills: 

$63.00 for 6 months for Post Office Box rental.

There was a motion to approve the bill and the motion passed to pay the bill.

Repeaters:  

All repeaters up and running. Marion, KA9BYN reported that he believed he heard someone on a HT in Idaville.

 NCI Hamfest:

 Marion, KA9BYN, reported that we are not having anymore hamfest in the future as of right now. We didn’t have anyone to step up into the chair position. The remaining prizes were handed out to the four clubs that hosted the hamfest. We closed out the funds to the clubs; our share was $698.96.

New and Old Business

We had a brief discussion on how to get members for our club and how to obtain funds since we will not have funds coming in from the hamfest.

We had a brief discussion on contacting your legislators in Washington D.C. regarding ARRL’s HOA bill to allow for amateur radio operators to have antennas. We had a motion, and it carried to put the club call on the ARRL’s petition.

Comments/Suggestions

Club elections for officers are in December.

Miscellaneous Information

We had a $11.00 donation.

No other business meeting was adjourned at 9:44 a.m.
