Minutes of the June 20, 2026, C.C.A.R.C. Meeting

The Meeting was called to order at 9:02 a.m. by Dan, KV9N, President.

Secretary’s Report:

Jerry, KD9TSH, presented the minutes of May 2, 2026, meeting. The minutes were approved as read.

Treasurer’s Report:

Dan, KV9N, presented the treasurer’s report, in the absence of Dave, N9WCQ.

Checking Account Balance as of May 2, 2026 -- $839.56

Deposit of $16.00 Donations received.

Ending Checking Balance $855.56

Savings Account Balance as of May 2, 2026 -- $1,493.67

Deposit of $0.19 for interest payment.

Ending Savings Balance $1,493.86

Total of both Checking and Savings $2,349.42

The treasurer’s report was approved as read.

Bills: 

No Bills were submitted.

Net Control Manager

Tom, KB9WSL, reported that we have all the nets covered for June. We still need some volunteers for the July nets.

July 2 – Tom, KB9WSL, July 9 – Open, July 16 – Jerry, KD9TSH, July23rd – Ed, K9PSR, July 30 -- Open

Repeaters

Sven, K9SEB, reported that all repeaters up and running. Sven also gave a brief lesson on how to check the repeater if it is working or not after the meeting.

Field Day

Bobtail, Triband beam, 4-leg dipole. Maybe run under 2F instead of 3F. John, KB9SIR, asked for the 501c number for the donations he received for field day.

Workday is at 2:00 p.m. on the Friday before Field Day.

Inventory/Membership/Website

Jerry, KD9TSH, would like to start the inventory after field day. Wanting to talk to Rich Systma to see if the server is capable to run Wordpress.

Membership

Dan, KV9N, has some ideas. POTA, festivals, 4-H fair. Does anyone have any ideas on how to bring in new members.

New and Old Business

Dave, K9DVL, made copies of keys for the inventory cabinets. Dan, KV9N and Jerry, KD9TSH has keys for the inventory cabinets and to EMA building.

We had a motion to remove Marion Bell, KA9BYN and add Dan McDonald, KV9N to the checking and savings account. This motion was passed to make this change.

July 11th Huston Park, we have this reserved the whole day. Meet between 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for food then a social event after.

Dan, KV9N, would like to clean up the radio room to clean up so we can keep important information at the EMA.

Accounting for Equipment, Materials, Software Keys, etc.

Dan, KV9N, has been working with the trustee for Marion, KA9BYN Estate. We have the testing box and the folder Marion carried to the meetings.

Miscellaneous Information

We had a $12.00 donation.

No other business meeting was adjourned at 9:45 a.m.
