 We
have stalled off this news letter for the past several months till we could finalize this
important change in Lyon Wrecker Service. As of April 1, 2004 we will be Lyon Wrecker
Service LLC. But wait there is more. Pee Wee Warnen will be joining the service as a full
partner for the next year and one half. Then at that time I plan to retire and Pee Wee
will be on his own. Pee Wee brings with him his experience with Fire and Rescue. He has worked very closely with wreckers in the many schools that he has instructed around the country. He has some great people skills. He knows how to read people and work with them. He has had a fascination with wreckers ever since ITWA first put on a class for him in 1990 here in Plymouth to show him what wreckers could do in extrication. Now he is ready to get his feet wet in the towing industry. I am looking forward to working with him. He has some great plans for growth and plans are for me to be able to have a day off every so often. I have been very busy since Bob left in July, having to turn down several calls a day on some days with longer estimated time of arrivals given. Hopefully, that will change with Pee Wee on board. Keith and Cliff will still be working evenings. Everything should run much smoother. The paper work is a giant job just on it’s own. It is like starting over a new year with everything tax related. Then there is the adding of new bank accounts, new checks and deposit slips, credit cards. Then all the places we work for that direct deposit have to be notified. Others have to be notified of a new federal ID number. |

 One of the
purposes of a uniform is to make you stand out. Well everyone has to agree, our new
uniforms do stand out, they even glow in the dark. The pants are a dark gray, the shirts
are light gray with two bright fluorescent orange stripes with a silver stripe between
them that glows in the dark. The stripes are across the pockets in the front, down the
sleeves on each side, and two stripes across the back. We can be seen in daylight or
darkness. |
